ZD1106 not retaining configuration and cannot upgrade firmware

Greetings,

I have a couple ZD1106 that are exhibiting the same behavior. It will not save it's configuration, and after every reboot it is factory defaulted. Additionally, I am unable to upgrade the firmware. It starts to upgrade, the lights look like a normal upgrade, but it never completes (waiting 12 hours once). Cannot access web or ssh on the ZD, and the only way to get back in is to reset it, in which it is factory defaulted again.

Any ideas?

David

Are you able to ping the ZD after it reboots? Can you get into a Web browser
session? If you see a screen stating that the ZD is in rescue mode, you click
the button to perform an FDISK to see if the flash can be reformatted. If it does
load a version of firmware (upgrade or downgrade) after the fdisk function.
Otherwise, open a ticket with Tech Support to check the entitlement on your
ZDs to determine if they are eligible for an RMA.

I get a ping/icmp response. The web does not respond. If I telnet to web port:
Connected to 192.168.0.2.
Escape character is '^]'.
HTTP/1.0 504 Gateway Timeout

Gateway Timeout: can't connect to remote host
Connection closed by foreign host.

How do I tell if it in rescue mode?

Oh, the rescue mode on the web interface never shows up. When I upgrade via the web interface, it just gives the normal page that is waiting until the ZD comes back to life.

Is there a way to run fdisk via the cli?

Also, when I try to run upgrade from cli:

ruckus(debug)# fw_upgrade tftp://192.168.0.3/zd1100_9.7.2.0.9.ap_9.7.2.0.9.img
