Hello,
- Testing the Hotspots with Secure Hotspot.
- When installing .apk files users need to check "install .apk from unknown sources".
Can we make the .apk files signed? so users dont have to select this box "install from unkown sources".?
Otherwize most users will be afraid to choose this option/method to connect.
Best regards,
Johan

Hi Johan,
This is a known issue, and we are looking at ways to improve the user experience, but we don't have a timeline at this point.

Hello Keith,
- Is there any updated news on this?
- Want to install this solution - but having the user to select "install unknown sources" is not acceptable.
- Why cant we just digiataly sign the .apk packages?
Best regards,
Johan

Hi Johan,
Unfortunately nothing yet. I just spoke with product management about it, and we are still looking for a suitable solution.

Question - can i do this - a script that:
1. Creates my own "wifi dpsk app" > launch/publish it through Android Market (so its signed)
2. Then using that application -> it calls the script to generate those dpsk kesy.
- so basically one ."app" that calls the dpsk scripts..
Best regards,
Johan
