Access Point ZoneDirector Discovery with SmartRedundancy

Hello,

i have SmartRedundancy running with two ZD1200.
If i use my DHCP with Option 43 to let my Access Points discover there Controller in a remote site do i have to provide both IPs of my Controllers? Same Question if i use DNS for Discovery. Two DNS Entries needed or is DNS Discovery not reccomendet for a SmartRedundancy Config?

Thanks.

Kind Regards
Marco

when SR is in use, AP's know about their active and standby controller hence no need for seperate entries anywhere else as far as i know...

Thanks!
So in Case i provide just the IP from my Active ZD with DHCP Option 43 or DNS, i won't be able to provision a new AP. The new AP just know the IP from my active ZD. I have understood correctly?

If this is the case, i think this is a behavior i can live with that.

you can chk the same by runnning a "get director ip" command on AP managed by a controller in SR mode...
