1200 zonedirector unable to reset...

I have 2 1200 zonedirectors that I am unable to factory reset them.  When turned on the status and power lights turn green immediately.  with an ethernet cable connected to port 1 both port lights turn green but do not blink.

I have pushed the f/d button from 5 to 30 seconds and nothing happens.  I have tried doing the same to the reset button.  Nothing happens.  Are these devices bad or is there some specific way to make these devices reset?

Hi Wayne,

I see that you have already tried below method to factory reset the units. The units seem to have gone faulty. I would suggest you to raise a support case for RMA.

The RMA will be processed as per support entitlement of the unit.

Hard reset:

Locate the Reset pin hole on the front panel of the ZD
Insert a straightened paper clip into the hole
Press and hold the paper clip for at least 5 seconds
The Status LED will blink red, then green, when the reset is complete
After completing the Setup Wizard, the Status LED will be steady green
