Hello, I need some help understanding and setting up a Smart Home. I have a lot of equipment for a pervious home.
My Condo is 2 stories and 13 years old; it has COAX and CAT5E phone wires thought out the home, all the cabling start in the garage. I have installed CAT5E connector to all the phone wires. I have Spectrum TV and Internet service. The CAT5e plug are not in the best location, and I may need to run new cable for my TV locations (I like to hook them up to the CAT5e plugs). My WiFi service is not good at all upstairs, So I think the Ruckus R510 Unleashed properly placed will help with that issue.
I need to know how to hook up this equipment.
The equipment I have are listed below:
- Hitron EN2251 -Spectrum Modem (connected to coax from spectrum)
- Sagemcom RAC2V1K - Spectrum Wireless Router (connected to Modem)
- Ruckus ICX 7150-C12P Compact Switch (I think this connected to the wireless router)
- ZoneFlex R510 Unleashed (I think connects to the Ruckus Switch, then placed somewhere in home)
