Unleashed WiFi physical network security

New Contributor

What is the best way to secure network access when the APs are in public places? Nothing prevents a person to disconnect the AP from ethernet socket and connect own device instead and have access to all secure VLANs. I can't enable a MAC filter on switch, as it would need to include every possible wireless device.

I was thinking about using wires 802.1x authentication to auth the AP into a switch, but it seems Unleashed doesn't support that.

Any other hints? Or is the only solution to get rid of Unleased and use paid ZoneDirector with tunneled traffic, so that the physical ethernet port to which AP is connected does not need to belong to the secure VLANs?
