Hey everyone. I know this has been asked in the past, but I'm curious if there is any new advice out there for selecting a router to work with the Ruckus Unleashed R510. I purchased a new home and this system was part of the build, so that's great... but the tech that set it up said I'd still need to use my previous router (Netgear Orbi) for NAT. What I don't like is using these mesh routers and having a separate wireless signal that I'm essentially not going to be using since I'll connect everything to the Ruckus wifi.
I'm looking for a wired router that I can connect to my cable modem that will provide NAT for the Ruckus. Any suggestions? I'm looking for something that is fast, but doesn't need to be overkill... looking at TP-Link or Ubiquiti options on Amazon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It seems pointless to use a $300 mesh router system only to disable the radio.

I believe the model he’s using is limited to 200Mbps.

Unleashed is a great platform for SOHO or residential wireless network, however, I would not use it to replace the router, there are just too many limitations and lacking of several essential features (such as NAT, Firewall and IPV6 support)
I am using a MikroTik heX wired only router with 3 x R600 unleashed and once it is setup, you pretty much can just leave it there, it has been 6+ month since I last reboot the router
If you don't feel like setting up your own router, then you can simply buy a wirless router and turn off the wifi feature and use your R600 behind it

Thanks, Paul. This is what I was looking for, heard good things about Mikrotik so I'll give it a shot.

I currently have a R600 Unleashed coupled with a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X. Works just fine.

EdgeRouter is solid too, only issue I was aware is in some case, ipv6 won't work if you enable hwnat (mostly comcast users I believe)
