Client disconnections after 200.19.7.11.283 upgrade, disabling "force DHCP" seems to fix it

We have a Ruckus R750 running Unleashed.

Everything was fine with 200.18.7.101.244, then we updated to 200.19.7.11.283 and many people were reporting disconnections and/or unstable connections.

Turning the "force DHCP" option from ON to OFF seems to have fixed it.

Anyone else have this same issue?

Hi,

We are able to find the root cause, seems like the dhcp ip address is not updated for more than lease time , the
lease time is set 0, hence the client got kicked off.

This is addressed in 200.19 MR.
ETA is July 6th for now.

Hi,

We tried with iphone 17 pro max, client was connected for 2.5 hours and there was no issue of disconnection, throughput or session is getting stuck.

If you can upgrade to 200.19 MR to troubleshoot the issue, we can work over a remote session to gather the necessary logs.
Let me know if Monday is fine for the remote session.

check dms

Hi @username,

From your backup file, we upgrade to 200.19 MR and we did not, upgrade to Unleashed 200.19MR GA, We did not see any issues with client connection.

We tried with 2 iphones/1 sumsung s22/1 macbook

It would be great if you could share the details requested in my previous comment

"Could you please let us know the details on the issue you have faced so that we can check internally.
We still have your config backup, we can check in our lab but need to understand the issue behavior you are facing.
Could be a new issue, but need to verify and your information will be very helpful.

The issue method is to get the logs directly from your setup, but I'm not sure if you are ok to upgrade to 200.19 MR."

On my IPhone 17 pro max, which is the primary device that gets used on the network, upgrading to 200.19, the unleashed version released yesterday. Once updating to 200.19, my IPhone immediately started experiencing slowdowns, disconnections. For example, in one spot of the facility, I had 300+mb download and 300+mb upload on my IPhone connected via wifi (WIFI 6 ax). I tested in the same spot after updating and struggled to get 50mb down, 50mb upload. Even in that location, there was frequent disconnections. Often times, I would remain connected to the same wifi network, but network connectivity had ceased. I would have to turn wifi off and wifi back on, on my iphone, to restore functionality. This was a process I had to repeat every few minutes.

With 200.18, which is what I reverted to, I never have to do any of that. It works on all my devices, mainly the 17 pro max without any interruptions or slowdowns. Happy to provide any logs you guys need, just need to know which logs you want, and how to provide those logs to you.

Hi @username,

Thank you for the info, are there any other devices with you which you tested?
Was it the same issue?
