Hi dear.

Ruckus have two tech. for channel management.

Does it turn off background scanning option if it enables channel fly?Image_ images_messages_5f91c3e0135b77e2478c2184_937363cd95ffd1a7c3d49297682a189b_RackMultipart201605311139131oz-df98abf7-d8f2-4bcb-9087-6d45f46216bc-784892522.jpg1464675405

Or if it enables channel fly, background scanning is automatic off though it checked background scanning option?

Plz let me know about it.

Both Self-Healing methods ChannelFly and Background Scanning, use the 20 sec (default) background scanning to look at other channels than the one they are servicing clients on, to build a table of interference/SSIDs seen on the other channels.  If the CF or BS thresholds for a channel change is met, Background Scanning will move 2.4G to channel 1/6/11, while ChannelFly utilizes all 11 of the 2.4G channels available (in USA).  But yes, you need the bottom Background Scanning on, for either Self-Healing method to analzye other than service channel info.

Thanks Michael.

If when it enables CF, it disables BG option, does not CF works?

Regards.

for channelfly to work, it need BG scan to be ON.

Ok. I got it.

Thanks and Regards.
