Controller based WLAN ( need for a recommendation )

Good day to everyone, I'm new to ruckus so please bear with me. I'm trying to deploy a controller based WLAN for our company's stores, warehouses and small hotels. Currently we are using 
multiple standalone AP on our set-up. We would love to migrate to a controller based with multiple thin AP for the ff. reason : A) so we could have just one channel and one authentication through out each site. B) We're hoping that having a controller based WLAN 
would give us seamless roaming coverage on our RF scanners ( Symbol MC 900 series ). C) We could add more AP anytime without RF  planning .

We are looking for an equipment that still uses WEP-128 .

Any recommendations are very much appreciated.

A) so we could have just one channel and one authentication through out each site.

one SSID with common channel and security parameters is doable so is one site doing multiple SSID with different security parameters. You will have lots of options to configure for this kind of needs. Yours is certainly doable at the moment

B) We're hoping that having a controller based WLAN would give us seamless roaming coverage on our RF scanners ( Symbol MC 900 series ).

Having a controller whether on cloud or on premises would certainly help in roaming however excellent roaming to happen, both WLAN infra and user devices has to closely work together which is NOT the case every time as Roaming behaviour is purely a client side behaviour which is little diffucult to alter.

C) We could add more AP anytime without RF  planning .

i would certainly advice to have some planning done so that you make sure you are getting "apple to apple" stuff so that you don't leave black holes which filling later would be difficult

Looking at ZD controller version 9.13 - i could see WEP-64 (40 bit) & WEP-128 (104 bit) configuration option available. not sure for how long...

please speak to a local sales engineer so that you get things (both current n future) right before buying
