We have two Smartzone controllers running firmware 3.5 which is the latest
We use Cloudpath to onboard all personal devices to our network and it works great
We are now working on onboarding all district owned devices to an 802.1x SSID via Cloudpath
The Google Admin Console allows 802.1x EAP-TLS networks to be added by User, not by Device
This means that when a Chromebook starts up it joins our wide open onboarding network. Once someone logs in, the Chromebook jumps to the 802.1x network. As soon as they log off, they are right back to the wide open network.
The problem we are having is 98% of the time the Chromebook jumps to the 802.1x network fine. There are times where after login the Chromebook remains on the wide open onboarding network. Has anyone else experienced this?
Not sure if it is a problem with the Chromebook, ChromeOS, Ruckus AP/controllers, or Cloudpath
