To upgrade firmware/software or not

Hi, need your advice, in 2009 have bought and set-up (as backup line)

• Zone director 1000
• 2 AP’s zf2942

From there I didn’t have any problems, didn’t touch config for more than 10 years, now I am experiencing network issues, and doubting on ISP, never the less I am checking all components in line, so was thinking maybe it is time to upgrade firmware to AP’s and to Zone director.

From GUI interface I can’t do upgrade, and + I realized my AP’s are EOL.

Q:

Should I upgrade firmware, on which version, and how ?

For this product, you can still upgrade the ZD1000 to the latest supported version.
