R510 AP red pwr light issue

Jflexx

I've got an R510 AP that I believe is stuck in boot loop. I have 2 AP's and both were working, and then I noticed that I've tried a few hard factory resets on it physically. I've unplugged and plugged it back up. I've changed ports on the switch. I've even switched ethernet cables to make sure the wire itself wasn't bad. I have a second AP that has no issues when resetting, but this one continues to have the red PWR indicator despite my different types of attempts to reset.

Yes, this is a Lennar Home Ruckus Setup.

Hi @Jflexx

Greetings!!!

Thank you for your response and for the information you provided.

Please unplug the Access Point ethernet cable from the Switch port and plug back to any other 1 in-12 ports (refer to the below screenshot) and see if it powers on normally.

Please let me know if that works.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding.

Confirming that I've tried this. Switching ports does not work. PWR light is immediately red and continues to stay only red once the AP is plugged back in to any port.
