Ruckus Cloud: Captive portal with AAA or LDAP authentication

Hi, I am migrating our wifi network from on-premise ZoneDirector to Ruckus Cloud. I successfully set up a EAP wifi network with AAA (freeradius+ldap).

We also had a non-EAP network with captive portal becaude some users have problems with EAP (like incompatible devices). I don't see how to implement a wifi network with captive portal authenticating on a LDAP or AAA server.

Do I need to use (and install) a WISPr portal ?

Hello @CBO,

For Captive portal WLAN you must have a WISPr portal to which your users will land.

RUCKUS Cloudpath is one such solution available for it.
