Hi everyone,
is there any specific procedure I have to follow to update my switch to version 10? Or can I go directly to the latest greatest? Current running version is 08.0.92T211.
Thanks!

Hi all! New to the community here. To piggy-back on this post I have a situation with eight ICX7150-48P-2X10G units setup in a ring stack topology. All running SPS08095h. My goal is to get them all up to SPS10010f. I did find this ( https://docs.commscope.com/bundle/fastiron-10010-switchstackingguide/page/GUID-ED19F884-7A42-439C-9B...) doc that once you go to 10 the stack for this model is limited to 8 units going forward so I lucked out there. But does this path of going to 08095s then to SPS10010f make sense for my situation? Also side question making such a jump do we forecast any issues with the 10Gig stacking port licensing? Last question - would anyone know how long this upgrade will take to process on these eight units?
Thank you!

You can make a direct jump. I would recommend 10010g_cd6 over 10010f. Also, SPS (switching only) code no longer exists in 10.x. You will be required to use the SPR (routing, but still has all switching features) image. I would highly advise you have physical console during this upgrade and please read both the release notes and the upgrade guide as there are many changes between 8.x and 10.x. You will need to pay close attention to addressing, routing and spanning tree. I would not foresee any licensing issues. Regarding the time to upgrade, that is hard to say. You are at higher scale and there could be a POE fw upgrade. That happens automatically (if needed) after 10.x boots. I would plan for a solid 30 minutes from the time you hit reload. If you are the type of place that need an actual maintenance window, schedule at least an hour in case something comes up. If you have support, you can surely open a case and have someone do it with you! Hope that helps.
