ICX 7750-48F Copper RJ45 10/100 Compatibility

Hello,

For an ICX 7750-48F switch, and I would like to connect a copper / RJ-45 device that can only operate at 100 Mbps.  With a 1G M-TX SFP in place, issuing the "speed-duplex 100-full" command results in a response of "This speed setting is not applicable to port...".  Is there any way to connect a 100 Mbps device to this switch?

Thanks.

Hi byrd23,

Thank you for posting your query !!!

I understand you would like to connect a copper/RJ45 device that can only operate at 100Mbps to ICX 7750-48F switch
with a 1G M-TX SFP in place .

It seems 1G M-TX SFP is not supported in ICX7750-48F model.

You can refer the below screen shot for your reference.

I'm using the E1MG-TX, which is supported, but the question is different:

Is there any way to connect a 100 Mbps device to this switch?  Does any SFP/SFP+ support 100 Mbps over copper / RJ-45 for this switch?

According to the datasheet, no. The 48f variant does not.
