Hello everyone...

i have ruckus r510 access point working in a standalone mode and firmware installed version is 110.0.0.0.663.

my question is, how can i increase max number of clients per SSID?

i can find this option in unleashed mode but there is no option in the current firmware.

need help in this regards.

thanks.

Standalone firmware isn’t designed to be deployed to a production environment. If you want higher limits, use a controller.

What’s wrong with installing Unleashed on it?

There is nothing wrong with installing Unleashed firmware on it. in fact, we do have built an unleashed network and using it. i am asking this because we have some access points, which are working as standalone AP with mentioned firmware installed. as i am a technical guy so i want to learn everything about it.

i hope you would help me.

From what I see standalone firmware has extremely limited functionality. If you can’t find the option I’d say it doesn’t exist.

ok agreed. noted.. thanks a lot for your answer.

according to the RUCKUS R510 specifications, it says that, it supports up to 512 users..

then why it doesn't allow more than 100 users to connect to this AP?
plus i would also like to ask that there are eight SSIDs we can create in standalone firmware but how many users can be connected via per SSID? is there any limit of connecting users per SSID?
your support would be really appreciated.
