Upcoming Community Migration

Hi everyone,

We’re excited to share that the RUCKUS Community Forums will be migrating to a new platform during the week of August 10–17. This move is part of our ongoing effort to improve the member experience and make it easier to find information, ask questions, join discussions, and connect with one another.

The new platform is a modern community platform offering many features we are unable to offer today.

What to expect

• During the migration window, the community will be temporarily placed into read-only mode while content is moved.
• Existing discussions, posts, and member information will carry over to the new community.
• You will continue to log in with RUCKUS SSO, same as today.
• Bookmarks and Subscriptions (“Follows”) are not automatically migrated; we are working to find an alternate way to migrate these. More information to follow.
• Once migration is complete, the URL community.ruckuswireless.com will point to the new instance.

Please watch for additional updates as we get closer to the migration week. We’ll provide more details about timing and differences between the current and new platforms.

Will my username change?
No, your username will remain the same after the migration.

Will my posts and accepted solutions be retained?
Yes, all posts, replies, kudos (now called “likes”) and accepted solutions will be retained and migrated to the new platform.

Will existing links continue to work?
Yes, existing links will continue to work through configured redirects.
