I have successfully configured my Zone Director after I had to reset due to power spike. My issue is that I can't 2.4 GHz to work with several devices in the house. My 5 GHz is up and running flawlessly. I am able to get into the Ruckus system via my ip address. Any guidance is appreciated. Currently my 2.4 GHz light is amber not green like my 5 GHz.

@snow rider Log into the ZoneDirector, check that the 2.4 GHz radio is enabled under Access Points > Radio Settings, and make sure your SSID is set to broadcast on both bands. Also check channel width (set to 20 MHz) and transmit power. The amber light usually means the radio is on but no clients are connected. A quick reboot of the APs might help too.

Hey! Glad you got back into the ZoneDirector! Amber light on 2.4GHz usually points to channel interference or outdated drivers. Have you tried manually selecting a less congested channel (1, 6, or 11) and updating device drivers? Also, ensure the 2.4GHz network is enabled and broadcasting the SSID. Trying to imagine some chill Snow Rider time until it get resolved.

Hey there, that amber light on the 2.4 GHz is definitely a bummer when the 5 GHz is humming along! Power spikes can really mess things up. Since you've already reset the Zone Director and can access it, have you checked the channel settings for the 2.4 GHz network? Sometimes auto-select doesn't play nice, and manually choosing a less congested channel (1, 6, or 11) can make a big difference. Speaking of channels, I was just reading about how some advanced network simulations are even using tools to visualize signal interference, almost like a crazy cattle 3D simulation to predict optimal placement. But back to your issue, also double-check the power output setting for the 2.4 GHz band; maybe it's been inadvertently lowered. Good luck getting it sorted!
