I have a Ruckus R500 standalone (firmware R500_110.0.0.0.2005) and an
R610 unleashed (firmware R610_200.15.6.212.20) operating in my home.
The R500 DIR led slow blinks which I believe indicates the AP is is trying to
connect to a management controller.
1) Is the firmware the correct version for R500 standalone (solo) configuration
2) If the firmware is correct is there a setting I need to make to operate the AP without a controller
3) Any other suggestions to allow the R500 to operate as a controllerless standalone AP
Note -- I have done a hard factory reset a few times in an attempt to clear any residual cache
which may be want the R500 to connect to a management controller.

Hello,
R500 doesn't support the firmware version 200.15.6.212.20.
The maximum supported firmware version for the R500 APs is 200.7.10.202.145. Please refer to the download link below.
You can either create two separate unleashed networks, one for R500 and one for the R610, in different subnets, or downgrade the R610 to firmware version 200.7.10.202.145 so that both the model APs operate under one unleashed master.

It is not my wish to run 2 seperate unleashed networks or to have both AP's running unleashed firmware
operating with one master & one member. I wish to run the R500 as a standalone (solo) network.
I have installed the R500_110.0.0.0.2005 firmware, which I believe is supposed to be standalone (solo)
firmware. My issue is the R500 appears to be searching for a unleashed master or management controller even though standalone firmware is installed.
Is there a setting within the R500_110.0.0.0.2005 firmware or different firmware needed to operate the R500 as a standalone AP and not have the R500 search for a unleashed master or management controller.
