It does not hurt an AP to be power cycled. They should reboot to full functionality within 2 minutes.

We are deploying about 500 odd of access point R600 to business owners/building sites. Business owners/building owners are planning to switch off the access points at the end of the business day. Switch it on at the next business day.

Hi Douglas,
Are you aware of the Service Schedule feature, per WLAN under the Advanced Options?
You can specify only business hours to service clients, even on all your WLANs, might be
a better option than manual AP power cycles. See the Week/Day/Hour chart that opens up
when you change the setting from Always On, to Specific. Configuring this on your ZD to
all your APs is perhaps a different option. But, nonetheless, power cycles do not hurt APs
if the building/business owners turn off the power at night.
