Hello
I want to confirm if r550 support LACP or not ?
I guess it must support LACP especially since its wifi6 and can theoratically reach speeds upto 802.11ax: 4 to 1774 Mbps according to specs.
I found information about hot to enable LACP for r710 and r610 but cant find anything for r550

Hi Fekry101,
Thank you for contacting RUCKUS Support via Community FORUM.
As per the R550 datasheet, it does not support LAG/LACP. Refer https://webresources.ruckuswireless.com/datasheets/r550/ds-ruckus-r550.pdf for more information.

so as the r710 according to datasheet, it doesnt support LAG/LACP but still there is documentation on how to activate LACP.
also when checking the device details in unleashed, there is an attribute that shows LACP is disabled, so I guess there should be a way to enable it
I am not sure what is the purpose of creating a wifi6 device that is according to datasheet capable of reaching speeds upto 1774 Mbps and then limit its upling to 1Gbps !

Hi fekry101,
Thank you for your response.
The datasheets for the R710 and R610 indicate LACP support under the “Expanded Backhaul” section.
Is the R550 AP part of an Unleashed network? If so, please share the firmware version.
I reviewed the release notes for version 200.10.10.5.253, which introduced LACP support for 802.11ax APs. Although the R550 is not explicitly listed, the notes confirm that LACP is supported on 802.11ax models.
To verify whether LAG/LACP is enabled, you may use the following command:
status-lacp [enable | disable]
Example:
ruckus(config-ap)# status-lacp enable
To configure LAG/LACP:
ruckus(ap-mode)# set bond bond0 add eth0
ruckus(ap-mode)# set bond bond0 add eth1
To confirm the LAG/LACP status:
ruckus(ap-mode)# get bond
Hope this helps.
