Trying to re-purpose a Ruckus 7982 as Standalone getting daemon.info channel-wifi0: unable to find active wlan device for wifi0

Repurposing a 7982 as Standalone and it works for about 10 mins then stops with the error above.

• It was connected to a Zone Director in the past
• I factory reset it twice
• It was running the most recent firmware 9.8.3.0.14
• I flashed it again with the same firmware 9.8.3.0.14 from this file ZoneFlex-9.8.3.0.14-APs.zip that I downloaded from here.

I know this is not supported hardware and that is why I am asking here. Is there a different firmware to use for stand alone? Can anyone link to it? What am I doing wrong?

I'll try another one. I have a few more. Lets hope I don't get the same problem 🙂
