Streaming Locking up

ZD1006 controller and zf7962 locking up while streaming 720p movies.

ZD1006 is running firmware 9.3.4.0 build 21 and the AP's are running 9.3.4.0.21. 

All of them are locking up when trying to stream movies locally. Each AP is at seperate sites on different subnets, site's are linked using site to site OpenVPN tunnels. Routing is setup in the ZD for the two subnets not local to the controller.

dustini suggest that you do your "testing" with NO encryption or security involved and see if that makes a difference

Define what you mean by no encryption or security. Also, what kind of traffic should I except to see between the AP and the ZoneDirector? Since installing them I'm seeing more traffic over our VPN's. Wonder if when they send back to the ZD it is clogging the tunnels and causing the traffic freezing I'm seeing?

Any other suggestions? I've even reached out to support, however this model is EOL. Might have to order some ubiquiti AP's if I can get these working properly.
