Solution for connecting 2 buildings with Ruckus

Hi guys,

I need some technical assistance regarding an expansion for an org. There are 2 buildings, one with the server room and a new building. There is about 100 meters (328 feets) between the 2 buildings. We are using indoor Ruckus APs so we wanted to stay consistent and connect the buildings using Ruckus. Is there any way to connect them with an outer AP. I read about T350SE being able to use a bidirectional signal but can it be used to configure a point-to-point connection between the two T350SE on the 2 buildings? I also read about Ruckus 300P but it looks like it's EOL so that kind of makes not consider it.

Any ideea on how to do this using Ruckus equipment and no underground cables 🙂

Thanks

Hello DragosCJ,

You can use outdoor APs in Mesh setup to connect two buildings. One AP would act as a Root, another one as a Mesh, which would provide backhaul to the network in New building. Make use of 5Ghz radio for better bandwidth and connectivity.
