Hello,
I have a network with 3 Ruckus devices 2 R710's and 1 R750 (the R750 is not a dedicated master). I observe that when I am connected to a R710 and move a point there a handoff to the R750 is required, the connected device will authenticate and perform a DHCP request (I can see this in the trace). This takes a significant amount of time and causes a brief but noticeable drop in connectivity. Why is it making another DHCP request and what can I do to prevent it? Also, the trace shows almost 1min spent associating and handshaking. Can that be sped up?
* Edited to include trace
System version: 200.15.6.12.304
Protocol's enabled: 802.11r, 802.11k, Channelfly, Background scanning, Load balancing, Band Balancing, 802.11d

Hi @keith_robertson
I believe the APs are running on Unleashed version, if yes Is it 200.15?
Did you faced this issue in older version?
If not, can you try disabling the 802.11r and see if it works?
When you say "when I am connected to a R710 and move a point there a handoff to the R750" What is the distance between the client to R750 and client to R710?

if yes Is it 200.15? - yes
Did you faced this issue in older version? - No.
If not, can you try disabling the 802.11r and see if it works? - Wow. Huge difference. The handoff time is now 1s from the start of " Authentication Response" to the "DHCP Ack". Notice in the screenshot that it was previously 48s.

hi, can you confirm if the IOS devices connectivity issues have been resolved in the 200.15 MR which got released 8th April 2024?
200.15.6.12.304 had ios device connectivity issues. Has it been resolved in the 200.15.6.112.52 release? If yes then the release notes dont mention any such resolved issues.
await your quick response.
