R510 and R610 Compatibility

Hello,

I have a home network with around 85 smart devices connected.  I have an ICX7150-C12 switch and two R510 access points that are plugged into the switch.  Its all been working well for 5 years or so.  I want to add an R610 access point to the system be plugging into an active port on the switch.

The last time I added my second R510 AP the system found it and did almost all of the configuring for me.  Can expect the same when adding the R610 AP ?

Hi @jpb
I believe the 2 R510s are working in Unleashed version.
Then you should follow the same process.
Connect the R610 to the network >> R610 will try to search  if there is any existing Unleashed Master present in the network >> R610 will detect the Master (If it is on same network) and will join the R510 network.

However, if you face any issue in joining the R610, you can login to the R610 CLI and use the below command to force it to connect to R510.
"set director ip x.x.x.x
