PoE injector not powering R300

Why is it that Power Injectors cannot power R300 APs(two of which), however it will Power on using a Power Adapter?

PoE is good since it can power other model like R510, R610 APs so there is no problem with the PoE.

Hi @roy_jorolan

All 802.3AF/802.3AT compatible power injectors can be used to power up the unit. The unit POE port might be bad and you should try to check the APs RMA support.

The power requirements of the R300 AP are as below:

• DC Input
• Idle: 1.6W
• Typical: 3.6W
• Peak: 8.4W
• Power over Ethernet Input
• Idle: 3.4W
• Typical: 5.3W
• Peak: 9.7W

Best Regards
