In the R700's is repeating allowed? Is there a setting either in the manager or the node to allow a certain mac address to repeat for an AP?

Hi Chip,

Could you please explain bit in detailed ?

"Is there a setting either in the manager or the node to allow a certain mac address to repeat for an AP?"

Do you want the two different R700 AP to have same Mac addresses ?

No I will need to use a repeater ( node or device to pick up the signal from a 700 and extend it). I can't get fiber or Cat6 to this one building surrounded by concrete. It has a very usable signal in the first two rooms but the third and fourth are marginal. Most high end nodes require a set up to be repeated. "allow mac address XXXXX to repeat." There you put in the mac address of the repeater. I know with our Cisco's you have to do this. But 90% of our schools are now Ruckus.

Hi Chip,

Could using Mesh APs be of any use ? It would help you in extending the WiFi.

If your APs are managed by ZD or SZ, you can use Mesh to the window in the far building, facing your main building(s).
Unleashed also supports Mesh.  Only if you deply Standalone mode APs would you need another solution, such as a
pair of P300 bridges.
