Hard reset not reseting to default username / password

Hello,

I'm trying to reset a ZoneFlex 7363 with no ZoneDirector to factory default but I'm not able to reset the username and password.

I can get on the http admin page, and I can also ssh the box. But unfortunately, the default username and password are not working.

I have tried to push the reset button for like 10 sec and I also read in the forum to try it for 2/3 minutes and still no luck.
Is there any other procedure to have it back to real default ?

I have the same issue. Did you find out what the problem was? Did upgrading help solve the issue?
I can't log in using all the above options. Even a 4 minute push on the hard reset button won't help.

@Jelle - you probably need to RMA the unit (but it has a limited lifetime warranty)

I did was I posted in the previous comment.

But I also experienced a bug with Safari and the password. I also have some weird config issue using safari when I was modifying the config.

Use Chrome if you are on OSX , avoid Safari !

Thanks, yes, Safari can be funny caching things. But I'm actually trying ssh to get in, avoiding browser glitches... And that only gives me "Login incorrect".

I also tried Chrome as you suggested, but still nothing.
I will wait for my ZoneDirector to arrive, see if that will shake it off.
