Hello, my name is Filipe, I hope you are well. We have been experiencing a problem with our AP regarding DHCP. The device is handing out IPs, even with the DHCP service disabled. This has directly affected the connection of other devices on our network.

I await contact from: [email protected] or [email protected]

Hi,
Can you confirm the software version running on the AP.
By default the AP will not be involved in providing the IP address to the clients.
It will forward the DHCP packets from client to the network and will relay back the DHCP packets from network to client.
There are some scenarios where the AP will be running DHCP service like;
1. Gateway mode.
2. AP connected to the SZ and DHCP service is configured.
Were you running any services on the AP which was involved in DHCP process?

Hello,
Version: 200.6.10.1.312
No. No services are being performed.

Hi,
Are you using the AP in PPOoE mode or Gateway mode or Bridge mode?
If it is bridge mode, it is not supposed to provide DHCP service.
In that case, we can do a packet capture on the client (Laptop) and see who is handing out the DHCP IP.

Hello,
I believe it is configured in Bridge mode.
