Username and Password recovery-ZD1200

Hi

I have a client doing renovation on his villa(He bought the villa as it is). 

The issue is that he has only the WIFI password, no username and password to login to his network system.

Now we're upgrading the villa with new Home Automation system, How can I access the network Zone Director 1200, I tried all possible passwords, didn't work

I'm avoiding reset option because some of the access points(ZoneFlex R310) are not accessible above closed ceiling, in case I need to reset them as well.  

 

Is there any way to recover the username/password?

Or if I do Reset on Zone Director, Can I add the APs again without accessing them?

Hello,

The ZD1200 cannot be recovered without a recent backup/ debug file. Also, this can only be performed by Ruckus TAC support.

To perform a factory reset on the ZD1200, power on the device and press and hold the recessed "FD" button on the front panel with a paperclip for 10-12 seconds. After you release the button, the status LED will blink red, then green, indicating the reset is complete. Once reset is done the ZD1200 will have 192.168.0.2 as its default IP. Default username and password will be "admin".

The APs should be able to auto discover the ZD1200 if they are all on the same VLAN/ L2 broadcast domain. It would be ideal to configure the ZD1200 with the same IP address as it previously had to allow the APs to join back easily.
