Hi all, I have an issue with devices that go offline. The supplier of those devices advices me to look at power management related settings. Especially UAPSD.
The devices don't use wifi a lot, and they might be disconnected from the wlan is their suggestion.
There is nothing in the Ruckus Unleashed UI related, and a search on the forum also doesn't help me much.
I've bought 2 R500 AP's with 100.7 some time ago, but there is no support contract.
I hope someone here can help me out.
Thanks!

Hi,
Ruckus has WMM and U-APSD (which is essentially WMM Power Save) are enabled by default.
Refer below link and check page number 21 on U-APSD details.

Hi Sanjay,
thanks, that's a nice explanation.
Do you also have some information on how to disable this?
Best,
Leon

Hi
U-APSD will be enabled by default in the controller and there is no configuration in the controller to disable U-APSD as this is a necessary function for the power save.

I see. And is there any general setting to prevent U-APSD to be disable by any means? Like disabling power save system wide, or maybe set some sort of high priority flag or anything related?
If this is not possible, I would have to look out for a different vendor for these setups.
