Yes, you just need to load a relevant software and you are good to go.

Just factory-reset and upgrade to 100.x or ZD firmware?

Yep, that's correct. Hard reset the AP, connect to its Configure.Me-xxxx SSID just like during initial setup, then drop down the "More Info" box on the first page, and you'll see an Upgrade button for the firmware. Point it at a ZD or 100.x firmware, and it will convert to those.
