5GHz not broadcasting on Unleashed 200.16.7.0.402, R650s

I noticed that no clients were connected to 5GHz on the one Unleashed site I have running 200.16 firmware and R650 APs. I got on site and used my spectrum analyzer software to confirm that it was not broadcasting anything in 5GHz. I set up a test 5GHz only network as well with no results. I saw on forums that people had had that issue with other firmware versions in the past, but nothing mentioned for 200.16. I decided to downgrade to see if it would fix it. In the upgrade section of the Unleashed web interface there was an option given to downgrade to a previous firmware, so I just did that instead of finding and uploading a specific firmware version. It downgraded me to 200.15.6.112.54, and 5GHz was working after that. So, not sure if this is a problem multiple people are having or not, but it would be great to see a fix in the next version of Unleashed.

Hi,

Can you confirm if there is any override configuration Per AP level for channel Channelization & Channel?
If yes, before upgrading, disable Manual settings of Channel and Channelization >> Upgrade >> check if you are still facing the issue >> And then configure the manual settings.

Hi Jackson,

I believe Redit reports of 5Ghz stops broadcasting was on version 200.16.7.0.325. So we have removed it from the support site to prevent this issue. Probably release notes for that has also been removed due to this.
This issue is fixed in 200.16.7.0.402, which is why I wanted to know the AP specific settings you have so that I can test it. You can share the settings on 200.16 as well if you have reconfigured post upgrading.

My custom setting is just to override group config channel on 5GHz for each AP and set a custom 5GHz channel in the DFS range. That override automatically overrides group config for channelization and radio, so I just leave channelization at 80MHz, the same as the group config, and I leave radio alone.
