PoE for R500 and R710

Has anyone used a Ubiquiti TOUGHSwitch 8port PoE device to power their Ruckus equipment?  Thoughts?

It's seemingly Passive POE only, which means it's not standards compliant so won't work with anything that is (like all Ruckus AP's)

I'd expect passive PoE injection to power a R500, right? I used standalone injectors with some of my installations before upgrading to smarter switches...

Certainly it'd only run R710's in af fallback mode, but that tends to be good enough for most people.
