We recently had to put some HTML examples in an answer...and had to scratch our heads a bit about how to do that since this forum allows HTML. The answer is to escape the HTML (it will look real funny...). There are lots of tools to do that, but we used

Paste the "normal" HTML in, and the "escaped" version shows up below. Paste that into your question or answer and you're all set.
