Connection fails between iPad and Apple TV via airplay on same access point

Hi,

we have problems connecting iPad with Apple TV via airplay when the Apple TV is connected on the same access point as the iPad.
The iPad can't "see" the apple TV, but is able to see other apple TV's connected to other APs.

Firmware is 9.5 on ZD1112, and APs are ZF7372

Any help is appreciated

I can add that Bonjour was not a recognized well-known protocol in 9.5 (so try disabling directed-multicast), and has higher priority in 9.7+ releases.

So since I updated ZD from 9.5 to 9.7 and changed some of the setting mentioned in a few of the posts I haven't gotten any complaints from the staff(although that sometimes doesn't mean anything, so I sent out an email for feedback).  So hopefully the problem has been resolved.

Michael - I was scanning through ZD's settings and didn't see where directed-multicast can be disabled??

Hi Brian,

Glad that higher priority in 9.7 seems to make a marked difference.  The commands
to enable/disable directed-multicast (and directed-threshold) are ZD CLI commands
that are issued from Configuration mode, on a per-WLAN basis.

Here is a KBA with the command syntax.  With best regards.
