Just upgraded our SZ100 from 5.2.2. to 6.1.2, and noticed that our AP Capacity License count has gone up by 1 during the upgrade.
In the SZ100 GUI, there is a line reference to "CAPACITY-AP-BUNDLED", with a count of 1. Haven't seen that before, so presume that's the extra License.
Did some Googling, and found this reference to a change when the SZ144 is upgraded to 6.1.0, which states: "Upgrade earlier versions of SZ144 to SZ6.1.0 or later to get the 25 permanent AP licenses."
But searching for a similar reference for the SZ100 only seems to suggest that it ships with 100(?) temporary licenses, all of which are only valid for 90 days. No reference to the 1 x (new?) permanent(?) "CAPACITY-AP-BUNDLED"...
As it happens, just purchased 2 more WAPs, but don't want to only purchase 1 "CAPACITY-AP" license and then find that this odd bundled one was incorrect, and disappears....
Has anyone else queried this with Ruckus, and is it "safe" to assume the "CAPACITY-AP-BUNDLED" license is permanent....??
Thanks,

In SZ100 version 5.2, the system provided CAPACITY-AP-DEFAULT licenses with 1000 licenses valid for 90 days, and no BUNDLED/Permanent license was included.
With the upgrade to version 6.1, RUCKUS introduced the CAPACITY-AP-BUNDLED license, which includes 1 permanent AP license. Additionally, the CAPACITY-AP-DEFAULT now provides 5 licenses valid for 90 days.
The CAPACITY-AP-BUNDLED license should be considered permanent and reliable.
We are currently updating the License Guide to reflect these changes, and all the relevant information will be available in the new guide, which will be published soon on the Support Portal.
I hope this clarifies the situation! Let me know if you have any further questions.
