Hi  @Yui

Greetings!!!

Thank you for reaching out to the RUCKUS Community Forums and for the detailed explanation, that is very helpful.

Thank you for your query regarding the test report and frequency specifications of the RUCKUS T750 Access Point.

Please check the below information:

Frequency & Band Support (T750):

The T750 is a dual-band outdoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point, designed specifically for high-density outdoor environments. It supports the following frequency ranges:

  • 2.4 GHz band (ISM):
    • 2.400 GHz – 2.484 GHz
  • 5 GHz band (U-NII):
    • 5.15 – 5.25 GHz (U-NII-1)
    • 5.25 – 5.35 GHz (U-NII-2A)
    • 5.47 – 5.725 GHz (U-NII-2C)
    • 5.725 – 5.85 GHz (U-NII-3)

These bands are standard global Wi-Fi frequency ranges and comply with regulatory requirements depending on the country/region.

Why it’s Suitable for Outdoor Use?

The T750 is classified as an outdoor AP (IP-67 rated) and is optimized for:

  • High-density outdoor deployments (stadiums, public venues, etc.)
  • Long-range and stable coverage using advanced antenna technology (BeamFlex+)
  • Operation in extreme environments (-40°C to +65°C)

However, “outdoor” does not mean higher frequency. Instead:

  • It uses standard Wi-Fi frequencies (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz)
  • Outdoor performance is achieved through:
    • Higher transmit power
    • Advanced antenna patterns
    • Better environmental protection

Additional Radio Capabilities:

  • Dual-band concurrent radios (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz)
  • 4x4:4 MIMO on both bands
  • Supports up to ~3.5 Gbps aggregate throughput

Summary:

  • The T750 does not use different or “extra” frequencies because it is outdoor
  • It operates on standard Wi-Fi bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz)
  • Its outdoor capability comes from hardware design, antenna efficiency, and power handling, not from different frequency ranges

Hope that helps.

Thank you again for your patience.

Best regards,

Imran Sanadi
