Good afternoon,

My name is Paul, my email address is robpaul14@yahoo.com.

I am having an issue connecting my Sonos wirelessly. I contacted Sonos, and they told me to contact Ruckus regarding this issue.

Here is the message:Hi Paul,

Thank you for getting in touch with Sonos support!

Kindly contact Ruckus customer support and request assistance to adjust the following setting on your network. Please do not attempt to perform this step yourself.

The setting that needs to be adjusted by Ruckus is located within this article: ( https://support.ruckuswireless.com/articles/000006140 )

  • If Standard Setup is selected for the WiFi setup, then WiFi APs will be used to connect speakers to each other. In this case, it recommended to disable Directed Multicast/Broadcast:

         1. ruckus(config-wlan)# no qos directed-multicast
         2. ruckus(config-wlan)# qos directed-threshold 0

Can anyone please assist. Thank you.

V/r,

Paul Reyes

Hi @PaulR1,

Could you please confirm the Unleashed version running on the APs?
We have the enhancement for Sonos devices in 200.17, could you please upgrade to 200.17 and check please?

Were the settings needed for Sonos devices are by default enabled.

You can verify under Wifi-Networks >> Summary >> Edit > Others

Hello Sanjay,

I'm not sure, but mine is a 2019 version. Also, I can't find the global configuration you posted. Where can I find that? At the Sonos app? Please advise! Thank you.

Hi,

The screen shot is from 200.17 version.
If you can let me know your AP model and the version it is running, then I can guide you.
