Not a tech guy here, so I am seeking technical assistance with my Ruckus Unleashed R510 access points due to performance issues. I'll start off by saying it's a Lennar home and they initially set everything up if that helps understand anything.
I’m experiencing dropped FaceTime calls and inconsistent Wi-Fi coverage throughout my home, which is relatively small. The connection is only reliable directly underneath the access point, and some devices have trouble connecting. In the Ruckus app, I see download speeds of 182 Mbps and upload speeds of 253 Mbps between APs, but I expected much higher performance from what I read online. I am also running the latest firmware. Additionally, I cannot run a speed test, receiving an error message stating, "Unable to run speed test at this time" when checking the speed from AP to Client.
It's been like this for a long time and kind of just lived with it. Its starting to become annoying. Not sure how to diagnose these issues and ensuring the system is properly configured or meshed properly. I read somewhere that the initial setup could've been wrong when Lennar was doing this as they outsourced technicians or something, idk. I know someone else who has the same APs and has much faster speeds and coverage in a much bigger home.
