I have vSZ 7.2 Essentials and R550+R750. 2 zones: Default zone (WG: Default) and MyZone. All my SSID-s are in MyZone in WG=Default.

Problem: 5 clients which are always in SSID=screens need to use only 2.4GHz. How to achieve this? I use WPA2/3 PSK in this SSID. The best option would be to restrict by device (by MAC for example). I can tolerate all the devices in SSID use only 2.4GHz also.

If you want all the SSIDs to be broadcasting only in 2.4 Ghz, then you can simply disable the 5 GHz radio in APs.

But you want specific SSIDs to broadcast in 2.4 Ghz and not on 5 Ghz, then try below :

For broadcasting only 2.4 SSID, you need to follow below steps :
1. Creating SSID :
»» Go To Networks > > Wireless LANs > > Create the WLAN Group (Name is 2.4 GHz) > > And Add the SSIDs you want to broadcast in 2.4 GHz.

»» Now Create another Wireless Groups for 5 Ghz and add the SSIDs you want to broadcast in 5 Ghz.

2. Assigning the WLAN groups to AP :
»» Go to Networks > > Access Points > > Go to Networks > > Access Points > > Select the AP Group > > Click on Edit (Pencil Icon) > > Under Band \ Spectrum Configuration > > 2.4 Ghz > > Choose the WLAN group you created for the 2.4 Ghz.

This way, you will have specific SSIDs broadcasting only on 2.4 Ghz.

This you can do it for individual AP as well.
