Ruckus AP showing red PWR LED

I’ve tried to power cycle the device, factory reset, etc. The AP does not ever transition to green LEDs like my other AP in my house. I live in a Lennar home and this system was installed as part of the house build. How can I get support fixing or replacing the device?

Thank you for posting, could you please confirm if you tested with another cable and another port from the switch?

Could you please double check the cable is firmly connected on both sides (switch port and AP port)

Did this behavior start after making any changes or a power outage?

Hi,

Yes, I have removed the AP from its mounted ceiling location and tried a different cable in the same port and a new port on the Ruckus switch — the outcome was the same: a constant red LED for PWR.

The cable was connected firmly on both sides. This behavior did not change after a power outage — it's been in this state since we moved into this house.

Could you please share a picture of the AP red LED, and another picture of the AP label (I need this one to see the serial number).

Based on the troubleshooting performed, your R510 access point is not responding properly, and the troubleshooting process has been unsuccessful.

As a result, this AP unit appears to be defective and needs to be replaced through the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process.
