Setting up system after buying previously owned home

I bought a Lennar home from its original owner who didn't leave me any information about the Ruckus system.  I saw that there was a network name and password inside the cabinet, but that network didn't show up on my wireless, neither with nor without AT&T internet plugged in.  Trying to set up my own wifi through the unleashed app didn't work because the configure.me network never showed up.  After doing a factory reset on the box (ICX 7150-C12P), the configure.me network still doesn't show up, but a recover.me network with an alphanumeric similar to the original password does appear; however, the cabinet password for the original network does not work on the recover.me, nor does the default admin password I saw in another thread. I don't know if I can console access, as I'm not exactly sure what cable is even required for that, but a straight cat5 cable between a laptop and the 7150 didn't seem to do anything, I could never get 192.168.0.1 to resolve to anything.

I need help setting up the factory reset 7150, and if that caused any issues with the 3x R510 WAPs in the house, then I also need help with getting those set up again as well.

Thanks!

I'm in exactly the same boat here. Hoping to find some answers.

Hi @nukem89

As mentioned in the previous post, the one that your requirement the factory reset is the Access Point not the ICX Switch, take in consideration that if you have more than one, we always advices to disconnect the other and leave only the one you will factory reset connected.

Hi @AFKeeker

The ICX 7150 does not required the factory reset, because this box is the wired switch which receives the internet from your Internet provider, the ones that create the Wireless network are the 3x R510 Access Points, now will be important that your Internet Provider's router is connected to your ICX 7150 Switch so that we get the internet connection from there, now the one that you need to factory reset will be one of the 3 R510 APs, and the SSID named configure.me will appear, so you will be able to perform the set-up with the APP, now I will advise to temporary disconnect the other 2 APs, so you will do the set-up with one AP Up, then when you complete the process you can connect back the other APs, and those will join the new Unleashed System you have created, let me add the guides that will help you.
