Seems like you are presetting the routing code issue due the power outage the switch starts running the wrong code

As a solution for now you can connect to your local router via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and your are not going to have connectivity issues from there

I will leave a short Guide about the normal setup for home users:

Where the main (white) box in your cabinet is the switch (ICX 7150-12CP)

And the boxes on the ceiling are the Wireless Access Points

We have 2 ways to access to the Switch 1- In a logical way via Ip address (IPs are logical addresses given by the local router) so we would have to track which IP is that of the Switch (that is using).

Those videos are for new set up. Mine is already configured. It is just now running slow. I am not able to follow amy of the steps because i do not have the configure me option since mine is already set up. Do you have any other suggestions for me? Other than just going ahead and getting a wifi extender

I’m in the same boat as this person. The main ruckus box is the issue. I’ve tried all the thing suggested. This is well beyond a normal issue if a factory reset doesn’t fix it. Can you just send me a new box that has the proper coding?

Ok, the Switch is not detecting the console connection?

Please provide a picture of the connection you used, including the terminal application on your MAC, when you ran the command ls /dev/cu.* for the MAC user or Device Manager>Port Status (COM & LPT) for the Windows user (the console cable must be connected from the computer to the Switch), so that I can confirm that the troubleshooting was done correctly, and thus approve an RMA.

^This might as well be a different language because I have no idea what any of this means. I know it's not your fault, but to expect a simple brained person like myself to troubleshoot typing in code like this is wild. My dad would have burnt the house down already.

Can you mail me a new box and I can ship this one back so it can be fixed?

I do not have the permissions to proceed with this.

Quick question there is a tab that is called switches can you see something there?

Could you tell me which part you don't understand, maybe I can make it easier to read.

And it could help you with the issue that your Switch is presenting

The IP address is correct. This is the only part that won't say connect. It just says "connecting", but I'm still getting internet through the two APs (one upstairs & one downstairs). As CK said in the initial post, the internet still works slower than before periodically and it freezes up (stopping streaming or messing up zoom calls for work). The modem, home router, and Xfinity connection (I called them to resend the internet signal) all work on their own with no issue. The ICX 7150-12CP seems like the issue with the APs seemingly working fine.

The reset button not resetting the system so I can configure it from the beginning seems like broken/faulty hardware. I was able to install this by myself and now I can't. It feels like I need a degree in computer science.

This is the know issue that we called 'Routing code' that happened after a power outage As you can see the ICX-7150-C12P Router ( this means that is running routing code ) and it should be ICX-7150-C12P Switch

Basically we need to access to the ICX-7150 C12P via CLI ( command line ) this can be done via remote or console

We already know that the IP address of the Switch is '192.168.1.3' so basically we need to access using the following apps or terminal if you are using mac

Many times the IP address reported there is not the actual so you can use any scanner to know which one is the working one

I can get to this and login to see the "ruckus>" command line in Putty. I don't see "ICX7150-C12 Router>"

Ok, you are in the Access Point CLI, no in the Switch, are sure you have a Ruckus Switch?

Let see if from there we can see the Ruckus Switch as neighbors, run the next commands:

ap-mode

get lldp neighbors

PREVIEW

as an alternative, use that IP address 192.168.1.3 in your URL bar from your browser, if ask you for login use the same credential you used here, then got Switch tap, you may be able to see the Switch IP address, now you can follow up any of the two option to gain access to the switch and fix the routing code issue.

This what I get normally with no IP Address. The MAC address of the Ruckus Switch is correct.

You almost close to fix the issue !

If your internet provider is AT&T or something similar you can go to 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.1 copy one of the IPs '192.168.1.254' past it in the URL you are going to be redirect to your Router login , please try to find a tab that is similar as 'attached devices' sometimes you can get the IP of the Switch in that tab.

Sometimes a hard reboot ( disconnect and reconnect the Switch from the power outlet ) after the rebooting the IP address of the switch appears on the scanner

Ok. I reset the house router so that I could access what it was connected to and found the correct IP Address for my "ICX 7150-12P Switch". When I put that IP address in the admin dashboard url area, I hit ok and it says "pending" and won't connect. It's been like that for awhile now.
