Hi,
We just moved to the new home at Lennar homes. Previous owners had the ruckus installed. I need to reset the ruckus wireless extenders. Please help with the process.
Thanks and Regards
Rishi
Hi @rrrahul2023
Greetings!!!
Thank you for contacting RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.
Hope you are doing well!!!
Thank you for the information you shared.
As per the case description, I could understand that you need assistance in setting up the RUCKUS network in your recently moved Lennar home.
Could you please let us know the answers to the below queries to assist you better?
1. On your switch while it's plugged into the outlet, do you see any lights on? (Amber or green) Please let us know which lights are on. (Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same, showing the light status and the FULL Switch panel cable connections to the Switch ports)
2. Is your Internet Connection from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) stable and working? (You could check this by connecting to your local router Wi-Fi or from an ethernet cable from Router to a laptop/PC).
3. May I know how many Access Points are connected to the Switch? Could you please let me know the light status on the Access Points? Any of these lights are on (Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same)
Please help us with pictures of your ICX-7150-C12P Switch showing the status of the lights and cable connections to the Switch ports. Also, light the status of Access Points.
Before uploading the photos please log in to the RUCKUS account and you can upload the image.
Please let us know the answers to ALL the above queries or let us know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience.
Best regards,

Hello Imran,Thanks for the quick response.1) I don't see any amber lights on the switch . All the lights that are on are green. Please see the attached picture of the switch light.2)Internet connection from ISP is very stable and good. I have no issues connecting to wifi thru the router.3)I have 2 access points for each floor. First floor has 4 green leds on.. the middle light which says "air is off. In the second floorthe I have 1 amber light on. LED light which says "5g" is amber. and "air" and "CT"L are turned off." I have attached pictures of the access points for both the floors.
Let me know if you have questions.
I have also attached the pics in the email.
Thanks
Thank you for the response and the information you shared.
As I see from the picture you shared, seems like the ethernet cable which is coming from the Router or Modem/Router combo is plugged into the wrong port on the Switch panel. It must be plugged into any 1 in-12 ports as shown in the below screenshot. Please unplug the ethernet cable and plug it into the correct port and I will share a factory reset process of the Access Points in a next post.
Please refer to the short guide link below about how to connect the devices as reference:

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Please follow the below process to factory reset your APs to configure them with a new Wi-Fi SSID.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To perform a factory reset correctly on one of the access points, you must disconnect the rest of your other access points from the "ICX-7150-switch". For example, if you have 3 access points, you should go to the switch and disconnect 2 of the cables to turn off the "2 access points" and only leave 1 connected with which we are going to work the factory reset once you configure the access point and make sure all is good, go ahead and reconnect the other Access Points back.
In your case remove the ethernet cable of the 1st Access Point from the Switch panel, and perform the factory reset on the 2nd Access Point. Once the factory reset configuration gets complete, wait for some time and connect the ethernet cable of the 1st Access Point back to the Switch port.
Please perform the factory reset of the Access Points from a Web browser as described below.

Thank You for your help. I got first access point working. However I am not sure if my second access point is working.I did the same thing as the first access point by resetting it after I finished the first one. It did not show " configurenow" option for the second one. Will it have the same name as the first access point ?
Thanks and regards
Please note, we have to perform a factory reset by unplugging other Access Points and keeping only ONE Access Point connected to the Switch on which you are performing a factory reset. Once the factory reset process is complete we have to just plug the unplugged access point back to the Switch ports and all Access Points will sync with each other in some time.
