I lost power briefly and all my WAPs have stopped working, they don't have any power. I have searched for different solutions on this forum but have not had any success so far. Please help
Hi @Pantwi
Is this a Lennar setup ? If not do you know if these APs are unleash or managed by any other controller ? Assuming these are Unleash you can try setting the wifi again following below ?

Yes, this is a Lennar setup.
Let me route this case to Lennar support queue.for further assistance.
Greetings!!!
Thank you for contacting RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.
Hope you are doing well!!!
Thank you for the information you shared.
As per the case description, I could understand that your RUCKUS setup is not working, and Access Points do not have power.
Could you please let us know the answers to the below queries to assist you better?
1. Was this working before or is it a new installation? If it worked before, was there any power outage before you started facing this issue?
2. On your switch while it's plugged into the outlet, do you see any lights on? (Amber or green) Please let us know which lights are on. (Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same, showing the light status and the FULL Switch panel cable connections to the Switch ports)
3. Is your Internet Connection from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) stable and working? (You could check this by connecting to your local router Wi-Fi or from an ethernet cable from Router to a laptop/PC).
4. May I know how many Access Points are connected to the Switch? Could you please let me know the light status on the Access Points? Any of these lights are on (Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same)
Please help us with pictures of your ICX-7150-C12P Switch showing the status of the lights and cable connections to the Switch ports. Also, light the status of Access Points.
Before uploading the photos please log in to the RUCKUS account and you can upload the image.
Please let us know the answers to ALL the above queries or let us know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience.
Best regards,
Imran Sanadi
RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.
1. Yes, It was working before. There was a power outage before the issue
2. The green lights are on. Find picture attached
3. Yes, ISP is stable and it is working.
4. The are 4 Access Points and none of them has lights. Attached picture
Thank you for the response and the update.
As per the light status of the ICX-7150-C12P Switch it seems to be normal. And I believe Switch ports are unable to send power to the Access Points.
Now, we need to check the Switch port information from the CLI access. To check the same, please follow the below steps and help us with the output of the CLI commands mentioned in this post below.
Please follow the below steps and help us with the queries,
1. To check this issue, we must identify the ‘current’ IP address assigned by your local router to the Switch ICX-7150-C12P
I will leave you a guide on how to perform an IP scanner on your local network to identify the switch IP address very easily.
How to find my Ruckus “Devices IP address” using free applications:
https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-find-my-Ruckus-Devices-IP-address-using-free-applications/td-p/47027
2. Once we identify the IP address of the switch proceed to access remotely to the device “Command Line”
How to remotely access to 'ICX 7150-C12P' or 'access points' "Network devices":
https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-remotely-access-to-ICX-7150-12P-or-access-points-quot/td-p/47388
If you can access the Command line should look like this:
ICX7150-C12 Router> OR
ICX7150-C12 Switch>
Please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.
Note: Hit Enter to accept each command.

Please share the output of the above commands or share the screenshots if stuck at any step or error (if any) and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Nothing happened after running the commands. See picture above
Your Switch may require a Upgrade to get this issue resolved.
Please follow the below process to Upgrade your Switch.
The recommended stable version is 8095g (08.0.95g).
The Upgrade path would be 08061a>>8080f>>8095g
Below are the options or methods to perform the Upgrade on the switch: You could choose any one of these.
1st Option:
1. In this option, we will use a pen drive or USB flash drive in which we move the files to the pen drive and connect it to the Switch then through CLI we execute the commands to upgrade the Switch using the following guide as a reference:
How to Upgrade a Switch ICX-7150-C12P using a USB flash drive
https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-Upgrade-a-Switch-ICX-7150-C12P-using-a-USB-flash-drive/td-p/46781
2nd Option:
2. The following guide is an example of an upgrade via TFTP server, by using an application (FREE) to send files or upload remote files to a device, in our case, we will use it to update a new version to the Switch, basically it will send the image version remotely from the computer to the switch.
How to upgrade a Switch ICX7150-C12P via TFTP

3rd Option:
3. In this option we Upgrade the Switch from the Web Interface (GUI) of switch.
https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-perform-an-Upgrade-via-Web-GUI-ICX7150-Switch/td-p/48200
Try to access your switch from a web browser by pasting the below URL in http or https form whichever that works.
https://0.0.0.0 or http://0.0.0.0 (IP address of Switch. 0.0.0.0 is just as an example)
As you can access CLI, I would suggest you follow the 2nd option.
Please share the screenshots if stuck at any step or error (if any) and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Ok i'm working on it and will let you know if I need any help.
Thank you for the response.
Sure, please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Hello! So I am currently close to being done but I am stuck on the part where it says; “copy tftp flash 10.176.220.51 SPS08095hufi.bin primary” (upgrade the image). I am getting an error on PuTTY saying "The code type 64 is not correct for the target hardware." The instructions told me to download SPS08095gufi.bin
The Upgrade path would be 08061a (your current version)>>8080f>>8095g
As mentioned in the previous step, we recommend upgrading to the stable version 8095g. Please download files of version 8095g (08.0.95g)
From the step in the guide of below screenshot:
Your Upgrade folder should contain below files:
Please upgrade as explained from the TFTP upgrade guide link and let me know if you are stuck at any point or have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
Error
So when I tried downloading SPS0808f and SPS08095gufi It didn't allow me to do so, so I utilized SPR08080f and SPR08095gufi. It gave me that error when utilizing those two. I do not know if it is the reason for the software to stop loading and crash, giving the Network error. This is the last step where it asks to “boot system flash primary” (boot the Switch with the new code)
Thank you for the response and the information.
That is the expected error when the Switch starts to reboot after performing the commands ‘boot system flash primary’ and ‘y’. After some minutes, when Switch boots up you will be able to log in again on the Putty.
And I could see from the Screenshot you shared (As highlighted in the below screenshot), you have upgraded the Switch to SPR08095g. It must be Upgraded to SPS08095g. Please Upgrade once again with the SPS08095g.bin file.
When you Upgrade successfully with the SPS file, you could follow the guide and with the above commands, and when the Switch boots up. Finish the Upgrade with the ‘copy flash flash secondary’ as mentioned in the Upgrade guide. And confirm with ‘show flash’ commands if both the partitions upgraded on the SPS08095g version.
Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Ok, and will there be any indication that the switch has booted up or should I just reopen putty once it crashes?
Hi
You could check from Command Prompt by pinging. Using the command ‘ping 0.0.0.0 -t’ (0.0.0.0 is just an example where you must put the Switch IP Address). Please refer to the below screenshot as an example when it starts pinging.
My question is why is the 4th Access point not working if three ethernet cables are defective and not transmitting the necessary speed? I believe 1/1/2 which is transmitting 1G speed should should work then coming from your conclusion.
As mentioned in the previous post if we are getting 100 Mbps or lesser speed from the troubleshooting command output, it could be a result of a damaged ethernet cable. We cannot predict the exact issue. And we have to assist as per the troubleshooting steps required based on the results to proceed further.
Please check connecting a working Ethernet cable to the Access Points and let me know if they get the power.
