The power went out due to a storm at my home. Once the power came on the WAP had no lights on it. The brain for the WAP has power and a green and a yellow light on it. Can someone tell me what the issue maybe and how to fix it? thank you
Hi @amishandami
Basically, due the power outage/ power spike the switch went to a state that we called (boot-mode) that is not able to boot up properly.
That does not mean is broken or need to be replace 'in some cases'
1-Please try to disconnect from the Power outlet the ICX-7150 and reconnected.
2-Please try to press the reset button using a paper click or a small stick

If that does not make any difference, we need to perform a software recovery since it can be that the image flash is corrupted so in basic words the unit is not able to boot up properly and need re-install the image to boot up properly.
3-We need to access (physical) using one of the cables to the ICX-7150C12P mentioned on the below guide:
How to console in the ICX-7150-12cp

Once we are there, we can try to boot up the unit using the following commands:
Boot_primary or Boot_secondary
If that step does not work Software recovery needs to be applied
Here is the guide:

Hi thanks for all this information. I tried all the methods you suggested and I had no luck. I asked a local company to come check the ruckus console and they have told me the piece is fried or broken. I have only had it for about 1.5yr and I was hoping to have a case opened to see if this can be replaced via warranty. Please help my house is wired through ruckus and wap access and we have no internet due to this issue
Please provided us a picture/ photo when you are trying to access console with the console cables on switch ICX-7150 - C12P and PC connected.
What error were you getting when trying to access the console, you can send it here:

On behalf of Mr.Patel im writing this, im a IT tech for BestBuy I have tried to trouble shoot this device for him and get the info you are asking of him we do not have the connect cable for the console we tried a usb to usb c no response from the console, but upon hard reseting the device thru the pin hole we are still unable to pull a IP address to access the web GUI upon further investigation I noticed the lights on the front of the switch were flickering randomly and as some point even completely turning off and back on if this is not enough to get a RMA then im sure Mr.Patel and anyone on my team would love to have you team view into the clients PC and help us trouble shoot the issue
Hope you are doing well!
Based on the troubleshooting done, and you confirm that the management interface ( console access ) is not working ( no response ) this unit Should be RMA (return merchandise authorization) in simple words replace it.
