I would like to add for best practice configuration and ensure voice traffic works correctly:
vlan 130 nameFreePbx_Uplink by port
tagged ethe 1/1/48
!
vlan 133 name Databy port
vlan 136 name VOIPby port
interface ethernet1/1/3
port-name 6739i_aastra_phone_PC
inline power
voice-vlan 136
interface ethernet1/1/4
port-name Phone6867i_aastra_pc
interface ethernet1/1/48
port-name Uplink_CampusMgmt_FreePBX
lldp mednetwork-policy application voice tagged vlan 136 priority 5 dscp 46 ports ethe1/1/3 to 1/1/4
lldp run
end
Make sure to run LLDP, and CDP (if using CISCO phones) Also LLDP MED creates a policy to ensure priority for Voice traffic.
I hope this sample helps.
Regards.
I see smaller companies or even some mid-sized ones lump all traffic into a single VLAN without realizing the potential bottlenecks or quality issues that can result—especially when it comes to VoIP. https://audiomodify.com
